TaliCMS

About

Built for real estate associations, by people who’ve built four of them.

Not associations generally. REALTOR® associations: the ones with a member directory that has to be right, an MLS feed that speaks its own dialect, and a communications director who has four other jobs.

Why we built it

We didn’t set out to build a product. We built a website for an association, and then another one. By the third, the pattern was obvious: every association needed the same eight or nine things, and every one of them was being quoted for those things as if they were custom development.

Meanwhile the platforms that did serve associations were membership systems with a website module attached, where the website was never the priority, and it showed.

  1. Unlock MLS for the Austin Board of REALTORS®

The first version of the idea, on a different technical foundation. Then one association website at a time.

  2. The same eight or nine things, again

By the third build the pattern was impossible to ignore.

  3. TaliCMS

That work, made into a product. Already built, not quoted as custom.

Who we are

TaliCMS is built and run by Dazlab, a product studio in Sydney, Australia. You’ll deal with the people doing the work; there’s no account manager between you and an answer.

A deliberately small, cross-functional in-house team of developers, designers and growth specialists, led by founder Darren Clark. We build for customers across the US and Australia, and we use AI to move fast and experience to build well rather than outsourcing to contractors.

What we believe

  1. Your AMS isn’t the problem

Good member records and a website they apologise for. We don’t sell an AMS and we don’t ask you to replace yours.

  2. The admin matters more than the homepage

Your staff spend the next five years in the admin. That’s where a platform is won or lost.

  3. Specific beats impressive

We’d rather tell you that search reads inside your PDFs than promise to do everything for everyone.

  4. A launch shouldn’t break links

We crawl and archive your site first and map every old address to its new home.

  5. Say what’s hard

If something will be difficult, we tell you before you sign, not in month four.

What we’ve built

Three associations live on TaliCMS, each on a different MLS feed and sign-in system, plus the project the idea started with.

  • Laptop showing the Columbus REALTORS® homepage - “The Voice of Real Estate in central Ohio” hero with upcoming events
    Columbus REALTORS® logo

9,400+ members. Full platform live in twelve weeks, plus a companion mobile app.

  • Desktop monitor showing the Texas REALTORS® homepage - “The Voice of Texas Real Estate” with member benefit tiles
    Texas REALTORS® logo

146,014 members and 35,951 offices syncing from NAR’s M1 Gateway.

  • Laptop showing the Abilene Association of REALTORS® homepage over an aerial view of downtown Abilene
    Abilene Association of REALTORS® logo

82,937 MLS listings from a legacy RETS feed, behind the login members already use.

  • The Unlock MLS website homepage, built for the Austin Board of REALTORS®

What association staff say

In their words, not ours.

Our new site on TaliCMS has handled the scale of a state association without missing a beat. Dazlab worked closely with our team through the build and launch, and the result is a site that's faster and much easier for our staff to keep current.
